WedgeARP™ Technology Enables Real-time Threat
Prevention, Cybersecurity Compliance and Managed Detection and Response
16 April 2021 – CALGARY, Canada: RHEA Group, headquartered in Wavre, Belgium, and offering bespoke engineering solutions, system development and security services globally, announced that it has launched its new Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services to its global customer base. Running on Wedge Networks’ Wedge Absolute Real-time Protection™ (WedgeARP™) platform RHEA’s MDR Services will allow customers to experience real-time threat prevention in protecting their networks while supporting their cybersecurity compliance regimes and protecting their employees 24/7 when they are in the corporate environment or working from home.
RHEA is launching
three (3) Managed Detection and Response services that will utilize the
WedgeARP™ platform. These include MDR
360: A Managed Security Operations Center service, MDR Remote: Managed
Detection and Response for Remote Workers, and MDR Net: A Managed Detection and
Response Network for Distributed Organizations.
All three MDR services are designed to enable RHEA to manage the
security of their customers’ networks and workers, freeing up organizations to get
back to the focus of running their businesses.
“We are really proud to introduce you to our amazing MDR services, all ready to support you and your business needs,” said Mr. Yves Metten, Executive Vice President at RHEA Group, Montreal. (LinkedIn)
Providing the
underlying security, Wedge Networks and its WedgeARP™ platform provides
network-based, real-time threat prevention for all types of endpoints in a wide
range of networks (mobile data, 5G, SD-WAN, SASE, enterprise and carrier
networks, SDN, and smart-city/IIoT). With an embedded deep learning AI engine
and patented real-time deep content inspection technology, WedgeARP™ can detect
never-before-seen malware in milliseconds. Running on an orchestrated threat
management platform, it is an effective and autonomous approach to enable
large-scale real-time threat prevention solving the problem of the “Expanding
Security Gap”.
WedgeARP™ is the
network security and analytics “tool-of-choice” for MDR providers such as RHEA.
It enables the management and security
orchestration among EDRs and network security functions to detect, block,
contain, and auto-remediate threats and breaches. Utilizing multiple signatures and
heuristics-based scanning engines, along with an embedded deep-learning neural
network for detecting brand-new malware in real-time, is the most effective
security platform against ALL threats.
The integrated WedgeIQ™ will serve as a linchpin to insightful,
actionable security analytics on dashboards and reports for RHEA as they manage
their client’s security. Combined with
support for all email protocols in all deployment modes, it allows RHEA to
include robust email security as part of their offering. With built-in security intelligence for
mobile and IoT threat measures, RHEA can offer broader security for a wider
range of verticals.
“Wedge Networks is excited that its WedgeARP™ platform was chosen by RHEA to power its new MDR services,” stated Mr. Rob Fong COO & CFO of Wedge Networks. “With RHEA’s vast reach into many of the most respected institutional organizations and firms in the aerospace, security and defense industries around the world, we are pleased to be able to help protect areas where real-time threat prevention is key.”
